The Sportage’s makeover is undeniably striking. The front fascia has a honeycomb gloss-black grille and large white LEDs, designed in an unconventional yet modern boomerang shape. It has a swooping roofline, visible on its side profile. To help make the new car look less bulky, parts of the rearmost pillars on the All-New Kia Sportage are black with bright silver trim, giving the impression that the roof is floating above the car’s body. This model still has a sporty appearance for a family SUV, but, in line with Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ rebranding, has taken inspiration from the new Kia EV6’s modern features.

Storage won’t be an issue in the New Kia Sportage; although exact boot space hasn’t been announced yet, it’s likely that it’ll improve on the car’s current 503-litre load bay. You’ll find built-in coat and bag hangers by the front seats to keep your luggage in place throughout your journey, as well as some storage cubbies in the cabin. The Sportage is perfect for family staycations and weekends away.

The high-tech features in the interior of the all new Sportage makes it a joy to drive. Upgrading from the relatively small touchscreen of the current Kia Sportage, this new car will have a large central screen that links up to an impressive digital display. They’ll both blend behind one piece of curved glass, looking just as innovative as the interior of the EV6. With so many touchscreen options, you’ll find very few physical buttons in the car.
