The New Kia Picanto
The new enhanced Picanto features a revamped front bumper, 'tiger nose' grille, fender, and bonnet, accentuating its dynamic appearance. Optional LED lightbar across the front and rear enhance its modernity and confident stance. The redesigned rear lights and bumper create a stable rear design, while various wheel options, including 14-inch standard wheels and optional 14, 15, or 16-inch alloys, cater to different preferences. The 'GT-Line' variant boasts sporty elements like an expanded tiger nose grille and dedicated 16-inch diamond cut wheels. With nine vibrant paint finishes, including four new ones: Signal Red, Smoke Blue, Sporty Blue and Adventurous Green, the Picanto exudes a bold exterior image.
Inside the New Picanto you now get a modern and comfortable cabin, the new interior comes with 8.0-inch Floating Touchscreen navigation system and a high resoulution 4.2-inch digital display in the driver's instrument cluster as standard. The touchscreen system offers Bluetooth multi-connection capability, allowing users to connect two mobile devices simultaneously. One device can be used for hands-free phone calls and media playback, while the other can be dedicated solely to media playback. Additionally, the system includes Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ as standard features.
The new Picanto offers a selection of two engines: either a 1.0-liter or a 1.2-liter petrol engine to choose from. The 1.0-liter engine focuses on being efficient, whereas the 1.2-liter engine provides greater power, making it ideal for driving at high speeds or uphill. Both engines are created with the goal of maximizing efficiency and minimizing CO2 emissions.
Both engines can transfer power to the front wheels using a five-speed manual transmission (5MT) or Kia's Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). The AMT automates both clutch and gear shift functions on a five-speed manual transmission for a smooth driving experience. By merging the fuel efficiency of a manual transmission with the convenience of an automatic, the AMT improves comfort, especially in city traffic scenarios.
